The Itinerary

Day 1: Sea Kayaking
The sea-kayak tour starts from the small fishing town Üçagiz (Three Mouths) which is about 40 minutes away from Kaş and is the closest point on the mainland to the Island of Kekova. It was once joined to the mainland but it suffered a series of earthquakes and these geological influences rendered it a city six metres below the sea. The area is off-limits to swimmers and divers so kayaking is the closest you can get to the underwater foundations, walls and mosaics dating back 2000 years.

Before starting our trained guides give a full briefing about the equipment we use and safety. But don’t worry there’s a safety boat close by at all times and the worse that can happen is that you get wet!

Day 2 : Canyoning
Canyoning is an ultimate adrenalin adventure and now one of the world’s fastest growing adventure sports.

You should be aware that this is an extreme sport. Whilst no experience is required, the right attitude is important. The day is long, about six hours, so a good level of fitness is required. Our guides are very experienced and professional and all equipment is provided. Before the day begins a full briefing is provided by our expert guides covering equipment and safety.

Our most popular canyon is Kibris, about 10 km from Sütleðen. have a good breakfast early as the day is long and arduous! Following an early pick-up the equipment is made ready and then it’s time for the off!

According to the size and ability of the group the route can take anything from 5 to 7 hours to finish, before the return transfer.

Utilising a mixture of climbing and caving techniques, you follow the watercourse of the canyon, until it becomes a river. An adrenalin pumping experience. Some descents require the use of ropes and harnesses. Dry or wet, they are sometimes challenging but always spectacular.

You should bring lightweight boots or walking shoes.

Day 3 : Diving
The PADI registered school uses topquality European equipment and has a purpose-built dive boat. For beginners we suggest a ‘Discover Scuba’ course, which includes a one-on-one dive with an instructor. Qualified divers can take 2 guided dives, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Beginners will get a ‘Discover Scuba’ course which is a half day session.

Requirements: You must be in good health, and will be asked to sign a medical disclaimer. Qualified divers will be required to show proof of qualification.

Day 4: Mountain Trekking
The Lycian Way follows 500 km of ancient footpaths and mule roads that linked the villages of the Turquoise Coast before the car. Our trekking day will follow a part of this route.

Day 5: Climbing
Another exhilarating day conquering the heights in the mountains above Kaş. As with the entire week, the level of difficulty will be carefully matched to the party’s abilities.

Day 6: Mountain Biking - exhilarating speed
A brilliant full day’s descent starting on the mountain plateaux and finishing near sea – level. The terrain in the hills above Kaş is superb mountain - bike territory. Little used roads and paths, often with breath-taking vistas over the coast. After an initial climb of a couple of kilometres the morning descent into Kaş. There are excellent views over the greek Island of Castellorizo and the Kaş peninsula. The afternoon is free for some well deserved R&R – unless you still have the energy for:

Optional paragliding: For the even more adventurous and adrenaline seeking junkies there is the opportunity to do a paragliding jump at a small extra charge (payable locally).
