A ferry departs daily from Kas harbour for the short cruise across the bay to Meis. The cruise may be short in terms of time (twenty minutes) but is certainly long in terms of differing cultures! Guests can spend the day exploring the picturesque harbour, meandering along the coastal paths and perhaps enjoying a long lazy lunch in a waterside taverna.

There are no beaches on the island however there are several spots to swim near the harbour and – for an additional fee paid locally – guests can hire a small boat to visit an eerie blue grotto where the swimming is fabulous.
