Complimentary Water Sports
The waterfront setting makes Ece ideal for those who enjoy water sports. That said, the island location does mean that winds can be variable and guests should be aware that conditions are not always conducive to water sport activity.
A small selection of water sports is provided on an entirely complimentary basis. These ‘toys’ are intended to provide some limited entertainment and certainly do not constitute an activity-style water sport school.
Instruction is not provided, however it can be arranged if required (payable locally). The following equipment is available:
1 x Laser sailing dinghy
2 x Windsurfers
2 x two-seat sea kayaks
2 x one-seat canoes
Snorkelling equipment and fishing lines
Scuba diving, waterskiing, kite surfing and a wider selection of water sports, together with specific courses, can be arranged in the vicinity – for which payment is required locally.
Additionally a 10HP dinghy is available for guests with a suitable licence to hire payable locally.
