CONTEMPORARY REFURBISHMENT - new for 2009
Though only three years old, Mavi Koy is undergoing a complete refurbishment for 2009 in order to take full advantage of its glorious waterfront setting. The aim is to create a stunning and contemporary villa with extensive private beach terraces tumbling down to the turquoise waters where guests can relax on scattered cushions and sun beds in the shade of the olive trees.

The property has been built as the private residence of the charming Tekin. We share a great love of Kalkan, having worked together since the mid-eighties to ensure the region remains special. With the creation of properties of this quality the future looks promising.

The five-bedroom villa is set in spacious grounds with every care taken to ensure full advantage of the magnificent views across the bay. The property is spaciously laid out over three floors with many outdoor areas in which to relax, making it ideal for friends travelling together, families and also smaller parties looking to luxuriate in the space and stunning location.

PRIVATE BEACH PLATFORMS & JETTY - new for 2009
The new private beach platforms are a quite superb feature. Though entirely private, they are equal in size to any of Kalkan’s public beach clubs - a luxury without parallel in coastal Turkey!

The terrace has various levels with the top level housing a kitchenette and barbecue area. This is designed to allow guests to enjoy what is arguably Kalkan’s finest location throughout the day and evening.

Steps lead through the gardens to the platforms and a small jetty which overlook the turquoise waters. Here guests can relax on scattered cushions and sun beds in the shade of the olive trees stirring for the occasional swim or perhaps to use one of the two kayaks provided. For additional water sports, a telephone number is provided for the local company who will happily pop over with a boatload of water sport toys for your enjoyment.

A WATERFRONT BREAKFAST - new for 2009
In keeping with a villa of this style, breakfast is now included. In order to protect guests privacy, it is served on the beach platforms
away from the main house. Breakfast will be served throughout the morning at differing times to suit the individual requirements of the villa party.
