Villa Salamantra enjoys a spectacular location, perched on the hillside looking out over the sea. It is an exquisite villa, with remarkable character and superb views – the perfect place in which to watch the
indescribable sunsets.

The owners, Tassos and Sharri, who are great friends of ours, have had the vision and good taste to retain the essential elements of the original building, whilst creating an unusual and contemporary design that in Cephalonia is rivalled only by their other creations - the adjacent Villa Trizoni and Zouzouni.

The décor of Villa Salamantra is extremely attractive – however it is the courtyard, gardens and pool area that are the highlight. The grounds are spacious and look over the hillside out to the sea beyond.

The pool is a good size, and the spacious gardens have several nooks and crannies (such as the stone hideaway) in which to relax, away from the main house.

The location is idyllic, with the picturesque cove and taverna of St Gerasimos a 25- minute walk away (or three-minute drive) and the lovely sleepy taverna overlooking Alaties beach is a mere five-minute drive away. In addition, many other tavernas can be discovered in the villages of the Erissos peninsula along the eight-kilometre drive
to Fiscardo. In the other direction, Assos is a short drive away, and beyond that the many other attractions of Cephalonia await your exploration.
