Route 1 - Turunç Bay - Selimye
Route 1
Turunç Bay - Selimye (via Datça, Symi & knidos)
We are delighted to be the sole company offering this exciting route which provides many varied experiences, including a night in the picture postcard Greek island of Symi.
Saturday
Arrive and spend the first night in Turunç marina.
Sunday & Monday
The first two days slowly explore the bays of the Loryma peninsula spending the first nights in Loryma and Dirsek Buku.
Tuesday
In the morning the gulet crosses to the harbour at Datça. From here you cruise to the beautiful Greek island of Symi for an evening in one of Greece’s most picturesque harbours.
Wednesday
The following day is spent in exploration of the island’s coastline prior to crossing over to the ancient site of knidos, onto the harbour at Datça for coffee (and crew paperwork). Guests can then elect to either spend the evening in harbour or move on to the bay of kargi.
Thursday & Friday
The next two days are spent exploring the beautiful bays of the Datça and Bozburun Peninsulas overnighting in the region of Bencik Bay and koca Bahce Bay.
Saturday
The week concludes in the pretty rural village of Selimye– a two-hour thirty-minute transfer from the airport.
Special Notes for routes 1 & 1a
i. A supplement is applicable to this route to cover additional official charges and harbour fees in Symi.
Cabin sales: £30 per person
Private Charter per boat: Aleyna £300, Seyhan Hanna & Parlak M. £400
ii. Gulets can only visit Symi with a maximum of 12 guests onboard. If your party is larger than 12 an alternative route will be arranged staying in Turkish waters (in which case the supplement is not applicable).
