Route 1a - Selimye - Turunç Bay
Route 1a
Selimye - Turunç Bay (via Datça, knidos & amp; Symi)
A virtual mirror image of route 1 with a few logistical differences.
Saturday
Arrive and spend the first night in Selimye harbour.
Sunday
Exploring the beautiful bays of the Bozburun Peninsula overnighting in the region of Bencik Bay.
Monday
In the morning the gulet crosses to the harbour at Datça. From here either on to the ancient site of knidos or the renowned bay of Palamut Buku to overnight.
Tuesday
From here you cruise to the beautiful Greek island of Symi for a day exploring the coastline and an evening in one of Greece’s most picturesque harbours.
Wednesday
The morning cruise is a crossing back to the harbour at Datça for coffee (and crew paperwork). Then on for lunch at Dirsek Buku prior to overnighting – as you prefer - on the Bozburun Peninsula in the harbour of Bozburun or bay of kizil Ada
Thursday
Explore the beautiful bays of the Bozburun Peninsula, with lunch at the ancient site of Loryma and an overnight stop in Çiftlik Bay.
Friday
Meander along the coast towards Marmaris. If required the gulet will moor here for the afternoon whilst guests explore the old city and new marina with its many shopping opportunities! The gulet then moves onto Kadirga Bay for the evening.
Saturday
The week concludes with lunch in Kumlubük Bay before mooring in Turunc Bay.
Special Notes for routes 1 & 1a
i. A supplement is applicable to this route to cover additional official charges and harbour fees in Symi.
Cabin sales: £30 per person
Private Charter per boat: Aleyna £300, Seyhan Hanna & Parlak M. £400
ii. Gulets can only visit Symi with a maximum of 12 guests onboard. If your party is larger than 12 an alternative route will be arranged staying in Turkish waters (in which case the supplement is not applicable).
