Pre-booked Motor Boat Hire in Fiscardo
Our motor boat hire is provided from Fiscardo - which is a short drive from Assos - as the bays on that coast are shelterd from the open seas, making for a more reliable and enjoyable experience.
In our opinion the use of a motor boat completes the whole Cephalonia experience, offering a unique and unusual opportunity to explore the island from a different vantage point. We therefore provide special rates for our ‘Pre-booked Motor Boats’.
These small motor boats come with our highest recommendation as they allow guests to explore the coastline around Fiscardo in a manner that few have the opportunity to do – discovering its many bays and inlets which are often completely deserted. In addition, they can even be used to visit the nearby island of Ithaca.
Included in the price are: life jackets, flares, oars, anchor, ice box, mobile phone (if you do not have your own), sun canopy, detailed operating instructions and a full back up service in the event of a problem arising. Fuel is to be paid locally. Dependent on use, it is possible to use up to one tank a day at an approximate cost of 35 Euros.
Local marine and safety laws must be adhered to, which are fully explained to you by the owner Makis and his professional team. The boat must be returned daily (prior to dusk for safety reasons) to the harbour base, close to most of our properties.

Kindly note:
- Multi-day rates can be applied as required but specific days must be confirmed in advance.
- For durations between or above, those featured simply divide the price for the duration below and multiply by the relevant number of days.
- In our experience, the boats will be filled most weeks.
- It might be possible to amend your dates whilst you are at your property. However as the boats are usually full, this is likely to prove difficult.
- For logistical reasons the boats may occasionally be unable to depart. Though we shall endeavour to provide a replacement day we are unable to guarantee one. In this case any monies paid will be refunded.
