Göcek - Kalkan (via Gemiler, Kekova & Kas)

Saturday
Arrive and spend the first evening in Göcek marina.

Sunday & Monday
Spend two wonderfully lazy days exploring the unspoilt islands of the Gulf of Göcek and Fethiye with plenty of opportunity for water sports and sailing.

kindly note: should guests wish to spend an evening in the harbour of Fethiye this is possible on Monday.

Tuesday
Cruise across to the Fethiye side of the Gulf and lunch at Turunç Pinari. In the afternoon guests have the opportunity to enjoy market day in the harbour town of Fethiye prior to cruising around Fethiye Peninsula to overnight at Gemiler Island in the shadow of the ruins of the site of St Nicholas Island.

Wednesday
This long cruising day begins with a pre-breakfast start. Breakfast will either be served on the move or at Furnaz Bay. This stunning cruise follows the Yediburular coastline past the famous beach at Ölü Deniz, the canyon gorge of Butterfly Valley and on along to the seemingly endless sands of Patara, the longest beach in the Mediterranean. The Gulet will then cruise past kalkan and onto the Kas region for lunch, before continuing to the scenically striking region of the sunken city of Kekova and the tiny villages of Kale and Uçagiz.

Thursday
The day will be spent in exploration of this stunning region visiting the simple village of kale, climb to the castle-top at Uçagiz and cruise past the renowned sunken city of Kekova. The evening is spent in a peaceful bay. kindly note: should the party have an interest it will be possible to visit the ancient sites of Myra and St. Nicholas Church. In this case the Captain can adapt the days itinerary without having to omit anything, bar some swimming time!

Friday
The gulet meanders along the coast to Sicak for lunch. After which guests have plenty of time to explore the ancient site of Aperlae. This site lies literally on the edge of the sea and, should you get too hot whilst exploring this fascinating site – just jump in for a cooling swim!

After lunch the gulet cruises towards the harbour at Kas. Should the party wish to spend the night in kas the gulet will stay in Limanagzi Bay until late afternoon and then moor in either Kas Harbour or Bucak Marina (the latter is a ten-minute walk from the harbour, but more peaceful).

Alternatively, should the party prefer to spend the evening in a peaceful bay, the gulet will come into the harbour in the afternoon to enable guests to visit Kas market and explore the town, before spending the evening in Limanagzi Bay.

Saturday
Following breakfast cruise towards Kalkan stopping for swimming and lunch at Furnaz Bay. The week concludes in Kalkan harbour.
