October 31, 2009 - Set sail for coves and castles in a gulet cruise around Turkey's coast

Huge white sheets are careering across the boat, catching a gust here, a ripple there and flapping with purpose. Ropes are tugged with gusto, sails pulled taut, the wheel spun. All hands are on deck and working feverishly - except mine, of course. I'm clambering to find the right spot for horizon watching, sunbathing and seabreezing. And I won't need to move until sundown. This is sailing as I had always intended.
