Mountain Trekking - 2 days/1 night

Day 1: Transfer to Sarýbelen.

A long, varied days walking that involves combinations of asphalt road, verdant valleys, walking along the mountain ridge, over goat herding fields, through a collection of ruins to a large wheat field and finally through some scrub land until you reach the village of Seyret (Gokceoren). Here a welcome meal awaits and the night is spent in a local village house.

7-8 hours trek 

Day 2: An early start today as to head slightly inland to the village of Cukurbag. You leave Seyret following the hacioglan stream. The road gradually decends in to a pine forest and you re-cross the stream a couple of times before arriving in a wide meadow land. It is now a steep walk up a ridge between the pines. From here the walk takes you through wooded land and scrub until you finally reach the ridge which has views of the Derekoy valley. The walk contours this valley down to the forest road and you will arrive at the ruins of phellos. From here it is just another 3km to the village of Cukurbag.

5 hours trek

At the end of the day a transfer is provided back to your property in the Kaş, Kalkan or Islamlar region.

Day 3: A shorter not so strenuous day to take you in to the town of Kas. You leave Cukurbag on a track that takes you to scrubby woodland. You keep walking until you finally arrive at the crest of the hill which looks over the town of  and its peninsula. It is now a steep climb down following goat herding tracks until you finally reach the tarmac road which takes you in to town.

3-4 hours trek

At the end of the day a transfer is provided back to your property in the Kaş, Kalkan or Islamlar region.

Mountain Trekking on the Lycian Way - 4 days/3 nights

 

Four days spent following the famous Lycian Way, one of the world's most recommended treks. 

This itinerary covers the Yediburunlar Coast which is undoubtedly the most sceninc section of the entire Lycian Way. Guests will experience some of Turkey's most dramatic coastal scenery, and see the real hidden Turkey whilst sleeping in mountain village houses, local pansyons and even a tree-house camp along the way!

 

Day 1: The world-renowned Lycian Way starts at Hisarönü, with the dramatic back drop of Baba Dağ Mountain. The trek starts here heading towards the village of Kirme prior to continuing on to the mountain village of Faralya which clings to the side of the mountain above the famous Butterfly Valley affording magnificent views across the coastline to sea.

4 to 5 hours trek

Day 2: The entire trek between Faralya and Kabak has verdant pine forests on steep mountain-sides on the left and beautiful sea views on the right. A stunning walk with the opportunity to take a 40 minute

detour to enjoy the remote beach at Kabak should you wish to cool off before spending the night in a special ‘tree-house’ camp.

5 hours trek 

Day 3: Today’s uphill route rises from the sea to about 600m. walking along a small track. The views are spectacular on this part of the Lycian Way.

Day 4: After Alınca the path descends and we contour the head of the valley and continue along the cliff-tops before heading slightly inland to the village of Boğaziçi where the trip ends.
