Whenever we do visit a more popular site – such as Ephesus – we’ve used our extensive experience of the region and drawn on knowledgeable contacts to ensure you have access at a time when crowds are not usually present. We restrict numbers on all our trips, to make sure that we can offer you the highest levels of comfort and service. So, we have a maximum of ten places available on overland journeys, and just four to ten Guests join each of our Escapes to Sea (dependent on vessel size).
We employ a select team of the highest calibre fully-qualified guides in each region, who are available exclusively to our Guests. They escort very small parties on carefully planned and personalised trips – both cultural and adventurous – using a mixture of their own and our extensive knowledge of the region.

All Exclusive Experiences and Sporting Activities include entrance fees, the services of a fully qualified guide or escort, insurance and meals as described. Drinks are sometimes offered on trips – however, these are usually paid for separately.
Please note: For logistical reasons, Experiences and some Activities operate with a minimum of two guests.
In general, transfers are provided from all our hotels in the region. Villa guests with inclusive vehicles are asked to make their own way to a suitable meeting point. Clear directions will be given.
As places are so limited, our published prices are the same for adults and children, with a few noted exceptions. Infants under two go free.
At certain times of the year we sometimes offer additional trips – for instance, to special events such as concerts. If applicable to your holiday, information on these will be provided when you arrive at your property.
We also offer a Private Guiding Service for guests who have an interest in visiting specific areas not included in our programme, or those who prefer to explore independently rather than travel in a group, no matter how small. Simply discuss your requirements with our UK team prior to your departure, or your Exclusive Assistant or Guide when in situ, and we’ll be happy to plan and arrange a specific itinerary, transport and guide for you. Our Guides can also help you plan your own exploration of the region – so please feel free to utilise our local team’s knowledge and enthusiasm.
Private Guiding is available on Saturday & Sunday at an approximate cost of £160 for a guide and vehicle (not per person). The actual cost is dependent on your specific requirement. Meals and entrance fees (if applicable) are not included.
Most of our portfolio is available on any date and for any duration, with or without flights.
All prices are presented initially per person for 2 Guests
The number of Guests can be adjusted and quoted during the Booking Process
