New Exclusive Gatwick Flight Service with Monarch Airlines

We have created a special service for this Monarch aircraft which will operate exclusively on our behalf, departing each Saturday morning at 10:55. Our rationale for doing so is a response to interest from our Guests combined with the timing on our historic (shared) Gatwick flight being moved to a very early departure time of approximately 06:00.

We have taken the entire aircraft out of the general Monarch fleet in order to provide a bespoke service. This means our Guests will enjoy a separate private check-in area at both Gatwick and Dalaman and all the items such as hot meals, bags and seating together which Monarch charge extra for are of course included within the Exclusive Escapes service.

Saturday Morning

A civilised morning check-in

Private check-in desks for Exclusive Escapes (not the communal Monarch check-in)

Seats are pre-booked as 'Monarch Seats Together'

Standard Baggage: 20kgs per person (1 piece) + 5kgs hand baggage

Priority Baggage: 25kgs per person (1 piece) + 5kgs hand baggage.

Onboard Service

The seats throughout the main cabin have a seat pitch of 28". 

Additional legroom seats are available in the main cabin with a spacious 34" seat pitch at a cost of £50 return

All the 'Priority Service' seats in the forward cabin are 'Additional Legroom' with a spacious 34" seat pitch

A hot meal is provided with our compliments (outbound and inbound).

On Arrival and Departure in Turkey

Arrive at your property late afternoon Turkish time, (+2 hours on UK time)

Unusually, the last day of your holiday is not lost to travel. Rooms and villas are kept available until your departure allowing you to relax in comfort prior to checking-out and leaving your property mid-afternoon.*

The check-in at Dalaman is exclusive to our Guests

Please note: All hotel restaurants will be open as usual with guests able to dine as they wish. Guests staying in a villa receive a well provisioned arrival hamper with our compliments. *On rare occasions this might not be the case for logistical reasons, in which case alternative changing facilities will be provided.

Important Notes

Many of the items noted above are provided by Monarch Airlines to their passengers for an ‘extra charge’. However, all these listed ‘extras’ are included in the standard Exclusive Escapes offering on a complimentary basis

'Monarch Seats Together': can be allocated across an aisle and are dependent on logistical availability. Unfortunately specific seats cannot be confirmed

The A321 aircraft layout is rows of six: 3 seats, aisle, 3 seats

'Extra Baggage' can be arranged with our Administration team, however before doing so - please note that our agreement is that the weight allocation can be spread across the party (it is normally applied per person). 
Approximate costs: £10 for first 3kgs and £7.50 per kg thereafter (requests in multiples of 3kgs only)

Special Meal Requests

Vegetarian meals can be requested without charge up to one week prior to departure

Other special meals are not available.
