We appreciate that our Guests wish to enjoy the delights of Istanbul completely independently. That said, the extremely knowledgeable Alper - supported by our Tailor-made team in Turkey - are available to assist as and when required throughout your stay.
Alper has been a member of our team for several years on the coast and - we are delighted to report - for the past two years, now in Istanbul.
Whenever logistics allow Alper meets Guests at the airport providing time on the journey into Istanbul to discuss an itinerary for your complimentary guiding and answer any other queries. On the rare ocasions this is not feasible Guests are met by an English-speaking private driver and Alper makes contact on arrival at your property.
We do not offer any of the shared excursions that exist throughout Istanbul as we wish to provide a more personal service. In order to allow you to establish your bearings on your first morning, Exclusive Escapes provide a Private Guide for a half-day to all Guests who are visiting Istanbul for at least two nights.
Alper - your knowledgeable and friendly guide - will discuss an itinerary that is most appropriate to you and will provide you with a fascinating insight into the history and culture of the city.
This half-day is spent exploring the SultanAhmet region on foot, visiting sites that are of specific interest to you. Entrance fees and meals are not included. For guests not staying in this area transport is of course provided.
For additional exploration a personal guide can be pre-arranged for a cost (including transport):
Half Day: £75
Full Day: £110
Please note: The specific time and day of the Complimentary Guiding is subject to availability at the time of booking.
Most of our portfolio is available on any date and for any duration, with or without flights.
All prices are presented initially per person for 2 Guests
The number of Guests can be adjusted and quoted during the Booking Process
