This new house is the creation of the wonderful Tomanbay family who are the owners of one of our most prestigious properties - the Kalkan Regency. The property borders their farm in the mountains above Kalkan and affords quite magnificent views across the mountainside to the endless sands of Patara in one direction and Kalkan bay in the other. Those that have been fortunate enough to meet the Tomanbay's will understand that Villa Dolunay is no simple rural retreat - it has been completed with the usual elegance and exquisite attention to detail that is quite simply their nature! Dolunay translates as 'Full Moon', and it takes little to imagine the magnificent nightscapes which are truly breathtaking in this particular mountain region of Tukey. Indeed we cannot remember having a better view of the Milky Way, ever. Villa Dolunay received its first guests in May 2011 and as with all our villas, has been built as a private house that provides considerable private space both indoors and out. Thus making it an ideal escape for families and also friends holidaying together. If you can tear yourself away from the glorious mountain location - Villa Dolunay lies just a five-minute drive from the mountain restaurants of Islamlar, 15-minutes from the relatively sophisticated delights of Kalkan and just 20-minutes from the glorious beach at Patara.
